Beginning August 2018 our family of 5 will embark on a faith journey to 7 countries around the world to serve God’s children and God’s creation. Working with Casting Off Globally – Family Volunteers we have partnered with several wonderful non-profit organizations around being a helping hand to those in need. Our service will include orphan care in India and Romania, animal and nature conservation in Sri Lanka, conversational English programs in Germany and Thailand, health and nutrition programs in Uganda, and academic and extra-curricular support in Kenya. Please follow our journey leading up to our departure, as well as during this year.
We would recommend starting from the beginning with our first blog. While this is not entirely necessary, you will gain a better understanding of our journey through all the winding roads that got us to where we are now and lead us where we are going.
You will see different authors for the posts. Sara (mom), Jeff (dad), Anjali (our eldest who started this journey at 11), and David (who started this journey at 9). Our youngest will also contribute her thoughts about our journey, but her posts will be under either Jeff or I since she is just 5.
